As someone who lives in the 21st century or the Digital Age, technology indeed has been very helpful in almost everything we do. The technology basically aids us on a daily basis, from doing simple house choir to performing presentations in professional settings.
As a student, technology is a big helping hand to me when it comes to academics. Since my course, Nursing is an art and science, I need to broaden my knowledge and skills. I can only do that if I have sufficient information and technology makes that easier for me. I can always surf the internet whenever I need a further understanding of a certain lesson and I can always watch Return Demonstration videos on youtube so I can perform and deliver the procedures better. Even during school activities, doing assignments and projects, we students use smartphones and laptops to accomplish our tasks. Even teachers use projectors for class discussions.
Compared to how education was in the past. No doubt that technology made learning easier for us today. We don't need to spend hours in the library searching for a piece of certain information because now all you have to do is click on your smartphone and you're on what you're looking for, timely and relevant information. Nonetheless, always remember to not use technology to cause harm to others.
